Late Arrivals and No Shows
- When a patient arrives late for their scheduled appointment it causes difficulties for our staff and for other patients. This results in delaying care for those patients who were on time and makes them wait longer than necessary to be seen. Therefore, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to see your child. If you are running late please call us and give us the opportunity to look at our schedule and determine if we will still be able to see your child, or if it will be necessary for you to reschedule the appointment.
- We also have a “No Show” policy in place. When a patient does not show up for their appointment they have denied another patient the opportunity to be seen at that appointment time. Patients who repeatedly fail to show up for their scheduled appointment may be dismissed from our practice.
Lactation Consultant
For those moms who choose to breast feed their babies, we provide the services of a lactation consultant.
Pre-Natal Counseling
As a courtesy to expectant moms we will schedule one pre-natal counseling session, with a provider, who will give guidance and assistance on such matters as life style and nutrition.
Lab Work
We have a lab, and qualified staff in each of our clinics that allows us to do the majority of the needed lab tests in the office. This provides our staff with access to test results more quickly, which allows the provider to determine the needed course of treatment and communicate the results to the parent in a timely manner.
Electronic Prescription Service
Our practice management system includes an electronic prescription service that allows us, in most cases, to submit your child’s prescriptions directly to the pharmacy of your choice. This saves you time and effort.
