Meet Ankita Patel, FNP-C

Ankita Patel, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with seven years of experience caring for children and families. She earned her nursing degree with cum laude honors and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Much of her clinical training took place locally in Fayetteville through Cape Fear Valley Health and the Cumberland County Health Department.

Ankita believes healthcare works best as a partnership between providers and families. She takes time to understand each child’s health needs along with the family’s values, parenting approach, culture, and everyday circumstances. Through shared decision-making, clear education, and individualized treatment plans, she helps families feel heard, informed, and confident in their child’s care.

Ankita initially chose pediatrics so she could feel confident making the best health decisions for her own children. Today, she brings that same protective care and clinical expertise to every family she serves. Her favorite part of pediatrics is developing long-term relationships with patients and watching children grow through each stage of life.

Ankita speaks Gujarati and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
