Meet Breanna Jones
While in college, Breanna began honing in on the career of her dreams when she started working in a pediatric clinic as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) during her summer and winter breaks. Her exposure to the different roles each staff member had helped guide her decision to become a physician’s assistant. Her involvement in pre-health clubs in college further affirmed this.
Breanna graduated with a degree in biology and a concentration in Human Biology. Before starting graduate school, Breanna worked full-time as a CNA. She then continued her studies attending Methodist University’s Physician Assistant Program and graduated with a Masters of Medical Science degree.
Breanna loves pediatrics because she can watch her patients grow and develop over the years. She is passionate about educating parents and patients about issues that arise as they grow. Breanna believes that in pediatrics, there is always a reason to smile.
Outside of work, Breanna enjoys crafting. She especially enjoys hand-making cards. Family togetherness has always been a significant part of how she grew up, and she loves spending time with them as often as possible. While she loves the mountains, the beach has always had a special place in her heart. Her favorite beach is in North Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove). If you see her there, be sure to say hello.
